Elevate Compliance is a compliance operations platform for commercial property managers. It is not a substitute for qualified fire safety professionals, elevator contractors, HVAC technicians, energy consultants, legal counsel, or the authority having jurisdiction. Using this software does not guarantee regulatory compliance with the BC Fire Code 2024, Technical Safety BC requirements, applicable HVAC standards, BC GHG reporting requirements, or any other applicable standard.

Not legal or professional advice

Nothing in Elevate Compliance — including pre-loaded inspection schedules, reminder logic, compliance templates, or any content displayed within the platform — constitutes legal, engineering, fire and life safety, elevator, HVAC, energy consulting, or other professional advice.

Elevate Facility Services is a software company. We are not fire safety engineers, elevator contractors, HVAC technicians, energy consultants, building code consultants, lawyers, insurers, lenders, or authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ). The information in the platform is provided for organizational and operational convenience only.

Compliance remains your responsibility

Meeting compliance requirements under the BC Fire Code 2024, Technical Safety BC requirements for elevators and pressure equipment, applicable HVAC inspection and maintenance standards, BC GHG and energy reporting requirements, any applicable municipal bylaws, and the requirements of your specific authority having jurisdiction is solely your responsibility and the responsibility of your qualified contractors and advisors.

Elevate Compliance can help you track deadlines, organize records, and receive reminders across fire, elevator, HVAC, GHG reporting, and other compliance workflows. It cannot determine whether a specific inspection was performed correctly, whether a submitted certificate meets the requirements of your AHJ, or whether your building is in fact compliant with all applicable regulations.

Pre-loaded schedules are a starting point

Inspection schedules and compliance requirements pre-loaded into Elevate Compliance are intended as practical operational starting points. They may not cover every applicable requirement for every building type, occupancy class, system configuration, or local jurisdiction. Requirements may change between software updates.

You should verify requirements for your specific property, systems, and jurisdiction with qualified professionals, including your local authority having jurisdiction. Do not rely solely on the platform’s templates as a complete statement of your compliance obligations.

Vendor records are for tracking only

The vendor directory in Elevate Compliance tracks contacts, assignments, and operational details for your internal use. Elevate does not verify, certify, or endorse vendor credentials, licenses, insurance coverage, WCB status, or quality of work. Verification of vendor qualifications remains your responsibility.

Gap reports and audit packs are workflow aids only

Gap reports, audit readiness indicators, compliance summaries, and document status outputs in Elevate Compliance are workflow aids for your internal planning and operational use. They are not regulatory approval, audit certification, compliance certification, or confirmation that your property is compliant. They may not reflect all applicable requirements for your specific property, jurisdiction, or occupancy class. Do not use these outputs as sole evidence of compliance to regulators, insurers, lenders, owners, or other third parties without independent verification.

AI document extraction

When AI-assisted document extraction features are enabled, they use AI processing to suggest dates and structured information from uploaded files. This process is automated and may produce errors, particularly with non-standard document formats, handwritten content, or poor-quality scans.

Always verify extracted dates and information against the original document before treating them as accurate records.Elevate Facility Services accepts no liability for decisions made based on incorrectly extracted data.

No warranty of uninterrupted service

Elevate Compliance is provided on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee that reminders will be delivered, that the platform will be available at all times, or that data stored on the platform will be preserved indefinitely. You should maintain your own independent records of compliance activities and certificates.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elevate Facility Services accepts no liability for any regulatory enforcement action, fine, penalty, order-to-comply, or other consequence arising from your compliance status, whether or not you used Elevate Compliance to track that compliance.

Our full limitation of liability terms are set out in our Terms of Service.
